Always Leading
We are always leading. Either toward greatness or despair. The choice has always been yours.
Which is it for you? Are you the kind of leader that builds people up and makes them feel significant? Or are you the kind that try to hold others down? Be the encourager that you were meant to be.
I am really on this kick right now because I heard someone say this week that their friend made fun of them for posting accountability videos during his weight loss journey. I want you to know that if telling someone or the world that you are doing something healthy and it is helping you stay on track you just keep on doing it.
If you send a text to your buddy showing them the Bible verse you were reading that morning good job. I want to be an encourager and I hope that you do too. What does the Bible say about being an encouragement to your brothers and sisters in Christ?
11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25
So I hope you ready to encourage and stir one another up to love and good works. I hope you get to lead someone towards greatness by loving on them. Care for your friends. Care for those that are not yet your friends and make it known that they are loved. Thank you for providing a space for that to be possible for all of our new, current and returning people that step foot on this wonderful campus.
